New! Security and Year 2000 Updates to Windows 98

Microsoft has found and fixed lots of bugs in Windows 98 and Internet Explorer. Many of them are security bugs, that is, until you fix them, hostile web pages can do destructive things to your computer. (The Year 2000 bugs are pretty harmless in comparison, and will just make some dates look funny.)

Fortunately, the fixes are available at no charge on the net and are fairly easy to install. Find out how to download and install these updates.
