Ever gotten mail from an address that ended in "am" or "tv"? Wondered
what countries these addresses are from? Every country in the world,
and a lot of islands and territories, have their own
two-letter code or "zone", which often
appears as the last part of the host name of computers in that
country.
North Korea is the only country without Internet connections.
Most of the islands and territories are connected, too, except for some of the
uninhabited ones.
TablesIANA, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, keeps the master list of country codes which you can check on their web site. |
